Balance
Harmony between body, mind, emotion and spirit — the foundation of Filipino healing.
The Tradition
A Filipino healing practice older than technique — warm hands, natural oils, and the quiet work of returning to balance.
Private studio · By appointment

The grounding session — warm hands, held tension released.
The traditional foundation — an hour-long session that travels the length of the body, meeting the quiet tensions we carry without noticing. Warm oil, rhythmic Hilot pressure chosen with you, and the old knots in the shoulders, lower back and calves softening under attention rather than force.
What's included

The slow session — stress unwound layer by layer.
Ninety minutes is a different kind of time — enough for the nervous system to let go of its watchfulness, for the breath to lengthen, for the body to forget the clock. The pace is slower, the strokes longer, the silence larger. A ritual of permission to be unhurried, cared for, and quietly returned to yourself.
What's included

The complete ritual — herbal oil, foot massage, natural pedicure.
The fullest expression of the practice — ninety minutes that moves from warm herbal oil through the body to a long, attentive ending at the feet. After the body work, the feet are bathed, oiled, and finished with a careful natural pedicure. The session for those who want nothing missed.
What's included

The foot ritual — soak, work, polish, rest.
The feet hold the shape of the week — long days standing, long winters in boots. This session is built for them alone: bathed, softened, shaped, oiled, and worked under warm hands in Hilot rhythm. You leave lighter, often without realising how much was being held.

The Ancient Art
Long before clinics and modern wellness, Hilot was the quiet art practised by Filipino grandmothers and healers — a meeting of warm hands, natural oils, gentle manipulation and something older than technique.
It is founded on a simple idea: that true health lives at the crossroads of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. When one falls out of balance, the rest bend with it. A Hilot session is the slow, considered work of returning a person to themselves.
